WELCOME TO

ELK VALLEY CRUISERS

ABOUT US

The Elk Valley Cruisers car club was born out of a need for like-minded car enthusiasts and gearheads, in the Elk Valley to meet up on a regular basis, cruise the streets of Fernie and then enjoy some banter and a beverage at the local Royal Canadian Legion Club in Fernie.
The club was finally inaugurated in August 2020 after a successful summer of cruises in and around the Elk Valley.

Spearheaded by Oscar Neilson, Garth Sloan, John Kent and Dave Bergeron; the club was finally incorporated as a Non-Profit Organization under the Societies Act of BC making the club ‘Official’!

The Cruisers meet on the first and third Thursday of each month at the parking lot at Fernie Auto Parts in Fernie at 5.45pm for a 6.00pm cruise, often taking in the three Senior’s homes in Fernie.

During the winter months, when the cruises are shut down, a regular monthly meeting takes place at the Royal Canadian Legion in Fernie on the third Thursday of each month at 7.00 pm. All members are welcome and also anyone with an interest in cars, trucks, hot rods, etc. are welcome to attend. Non members are welcome to come and join us for a cruise on any of our cruise nights.
Membership is $20 per annum and is available for purchase at any of our meetings.

Ownership of a vehicle is not a requirement for membership.

The Cruisers are proud to support the Elk Valley Community and other non-profit organizations in the Valley, including of course the Royal Canadian Legion in Fernie.

The Cruisers will be hosting an annual Car Show and Rally in Fernie on Saturday August 28, 2021 which will replace the successful and ever growing Fernie Show ‘n’ Shines of previous years.
